ALABAMA

Richard F. Hammonds
Died in Attalla, AL (Etowah Co) on the 18th of July 1882.  Obit appeared in The Gadsden Times 21 July 1882 issue.

Miss Katie Hammond
Died at her home in Jacksonville, AL (Calhoun Co) last Sunday. She was the youngest daughter of Captain W.M. Hammond. Obit appeared in the Gadson Times 26 Mar 1897.
 
 
 
 

KENTUCKY

Mary Jane Hammons
whose age is 62 was almost instantly killed early Monday night May 2, 1948 when struck by a car while crossing the highway near the Grindstaff farm, three miles south of Barbourville.  Funeral services held Wednesday May 5, she is survived by husband Sherman Hammons, dau Sudie Fisher of Harlan, sons Ben Hammons and Charlie Swafford.

Carl Francis Hamon 76 of Georgetown d. Sunday Sept 5 1993 in Lexington he was son of Ellis and Mary Etta Williams Hamon.  Survivors are wife Uneeda Underwood Hamon dau Della H. Burton, Batesville AR son Carl F. Hamon Jr Georgetown, sister Maxine Handziak,Winchester, brothers Harcourt Hammon, Frankfort. Jewell Hamon, Florida. Samuel Earl Hamon, Winchester and Bruce Hamon, Louisville.
