This page was compiled by Lana Delk, who appeared in each Mystery Night Production from 1993-1998.    The library and the theatre community of Bell Co. lost a devoted friend when Lana  passed away in 1999 as a result of an automobile accident.

The 1999 production--Murder in the Magnolias--was dedicated to her memory.

Mystery Night

Once a year, a mystery play is performed by supporters of the Middlesborough-Bell Co. Public Library. The cast and crew are a great bunch of people and my world is made much brighter by my association with them. This page is tribute to them.

The Curtain Call

The final curtain has fallen.
The last curtain call taken.
The auditorium is empty.
The stage is bare.
Another performance is over
All involved have returned to our daily lives.
For weeks a small group came together.
With one goal in mind,
To entertain and enjoy,
To make the world a little brighter place in which to live,
To bring smiles to the faces of friends and strangers alike.
To see people enjoying the fruits of our labors,
Forgeting harsh realities of daily life,
If only for a few hours, makes it all worthwhile.
At times the work is hard,
But it is made so much easier,
By the fellowship we share.
We are a family.
We work, laugh and cry together.
We are always there to support,
Both on stage and off.
So I want to say to all
"My Stage Family"
I love you all.
And take care,
Until we meet again.
